It was a difference of lives
A change in style on both our accord
Change in both mind and matter
As well as thought and meanings

I spoke to you words to show I understand
You always spoke words of praise
I could hear the smiles on your face each spaced phone call I encountered

You called in-between many trips
And I studied

Years later we egg on months to pass by faster so we can start our lives
So we can buy a house
Get the coffee maker we want
And so finally the pause button isn't on

And we can start our lives
